Vijay holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, and a Masters in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford. He started his career at Handspring, a pioneer in early mobile computing technology, where he worked on many innovative PalmOS applications. He also built financial simulation models at Broadridge Financial Solutions.
He is very excited about the potential at the intersection of Data Science and Big Data, where he can bring together his Computer Science expertise and knowledge of statistical modeling and visualization. He was an early employee at a venture backed smart meter data analytics startup. He designed and built the software architecture stack to collect, process and report on vast volumes of time series data. He also crafted load forecast and demand response estimation models using machine learning techniques like GLM, SVM and Bayesian regression.
Vijay started InnoSpark to help companies use data effectively to address their most pressing needs. His clients include Facebook, Capital One Labs, Tapjoy and IO.
